About me

Hey there! I’m Talitha, curator of a life that zigzags between heartwarming moments and comedic relief, like a sitcom that sometimes gets too real. Picture a blend of adventure, heartfelt missions, and the occasional (okay, frequent) detour into the realm of the unexpected.

Life, Unexpected

My life's narrative has been anything but ordinary, filled with adventures and plot twists that could rival any novel. Among these was my nearly 4-year journey in Romania, a trip far removed from your typical tourist path. Working in child placement centers among some of the bravest kids I've ever had the privilege to meet, I discovered the true meaning of resilience, joy, and the healing power of love and friendship. They didn’t merely change my view on life; they completely rewrote my script.

The plot thickened when I stepped into the role of a mother, a chapter filled with its twists and turns. My son, the true hero of my story, was born with a rare Congenital Heart Defect (CHD) known as Double Outlet Right Ventricle (DORV). His journey, starting with an open heart surgery at just four months old, thrust me into a realm I never knew existed—one where silent battles are waged and victories are counted in heartbeats. Advocating for him and the importance of early CHD detection has become my mission. It's not about attempting to save the world on a grand scale but ensuring that the early chapters of someone’s life story aren’t missed.

Creative Interludes

In between life’s major plotlines, I've had my share of directorial debuts: from orchestrating a lip-sync battle that could rival any reality TV showdown to designing an escape room that mixed trivia with a dash of espionage. And who could forget the awards show? It was part Oscars, part Saturday Night Live, and all heart.

An Open Book

If you’re drawn to tales of unexpected turns, finding joy in the little things, or simply enjoy a good story with a side of wit, you’ve found your next chapter. Let’s swap stories, brainstorm, or just share a laugh about how life never quite follows the script.
